What to expect in the functional area
SkiErg, rowers and air bikes stand side by side, plus a non-motorised curved treadmill. That lets you build intervals and race simulations without walking back and forth.
On the open floor you train lunges, carries, burpees and wall balls. Use the rig with bumper plates for strength blocks between intervals.
If you're preparing for a specific race, our HYROX page explains the format and has a twelve-week roadmap.

Questions about Functional & HYROX
Is the area only for HYROX?
No. It's also great for conditioning, athletic training or a quick full-body workout.
What is a curved treadmill?
A treadmill without a motor: you drive the belt yourself. It's closer to running outdoors and works more muscles.
